Have you noticed a change in the NeurIPS rebuttal score this year? I’m not the only one who thinks so. From my experience, the post rebuttal score seems higher than previous years. I’d love to hear from others who have reviewed papers – how have the scores changed for you?
Personally, I’ve reviewed 9 papers with a friend, and the results are interesting. Four papers saw an increase in score (one by a single point, the rest more significantly), one was withdrawn, one is likely to decrease by a point, and the rest remained unchanged.
