I recently had the opportunity to try out GPT-5 in my ‘agentic AI meets BI’ platform, and I was blown away by its capabilities. As a former CEO of a SaaS company, I know how difficult it can be to explore data without a proper data team. But with GPT-5, I was able to plug in structured data and let the AI agent do the work for me.
The results were astonishing. The agent was able to generate high-quality output, computing metrics and explaining the entire process step-by-step. What’s more, I was able to give the agent different personalities, such as an M&A/VC-round auditor that could prepare founders and business owners for an acquisition or fundraising round.
The best part? The agent didn’t need to know how the different data sources were structured. It was able to connect the dots, identify entities, and compute MRR reliably. And with the right prompt, it could provide a deep report on company health and data analysis.
