As a dev with 8 years of experience, I’m building an AI automation tool, but I’m starting to think that what I’m creating is only slightly easier to use than coding itself. With Large Language Models (LLMs) making coding incredibly easy to learn, I believe that anyone who can code will soon have no use for these automation tools. In fact, I think many similar tools will be dead in 3 years, and people will just write their own code using AI directly.
The idea of ‘vibe coding’ – where you can simply describe what you want to do and the AI does it for you – is becoming a reality. And when that happens, tools like n8n will be redundant. It’s time to rethink the way we approach AI automation and focus on making coding more accessible to everyone.
