Hey there! As someone who’s been working on a massive personal project, I’ve been wondering how to effectively showcase the skills I’ve acquired on my CV. My project involves building an end-to-end pipeline for predicting real-time probabilities of winning chances in a game, which includes a wide range of tools and technologies such as scraping, database management, scheduling, training, prediction, and data drift pipelines, as well as cloud hosting.
The thing is, I’ve learned a ton from this project, but I’m not sure how to specify those skills on my CV. I don’t want to simply say I’ve used these tools in my current job, because that’s not entirely accurate.
So, how do you guys do it? How do you translate the skills you’ve acquired from personal projects into CV-worthy bullet points? Do you have any tips or strategies to share?
For me, it’s about more than just listing tools and technologies. I want to be able to demonstrate how I’ve applied them to solve real-world problems and achieve tangible results. But how do you convey that on a CV?
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences on this. Let’s chat!
