As a researcher, you know how important it is to be transparent about your work. That’s why I’ve started publishing not just my manuscripts, but also my data, materials, and R-based analysis. I use Quarto notebooks to conduct my analysis, and I host my data on OSF (Open Science Framework). But here’s the thing: I’m not satisfied with how my components are integrated.
While it’s possible for readers or other researchers to download my notebook and data, render them locally, and then verify the results, I want to make it easier for them to access my work. I want to present my rendered Quarto notebook in a readable format directly on the OSF website.
The catch? I don’t want to create a separate website for this. I want to keep my data, materials, and analyses hosted with an independent provider of scientific data. So, how can I achieve this?
If you’ve struggled with the same issue, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Have you found a way to share your Quarto notebooks on OSF without spinning up a separate website? Let’s discuss!
