I recently had an intriguing idea – to create a Python script that scrapes job boards based on specific keywords and filters them by location and salary. As someone with experience in data mining, I knew the technical aspects wouldn’t be a challenge. But I needed guidance on where to start.
After all, who hasn’t struggled with the job market at some point? I figured some of you might have already attempted something similar. So, I asked for recommendations on job boards that allow scraping. LinkedIn is a no-go, but Greenhouse and Lever seem to permit it. Going through each website’s terms of service can be a pain, so I was hoping for a list of websites to get started.
My goal is to create a useful script that others can use. If you’re interested, I’d be happy to share it once it’s finished.
In the meantime, I’d love to hear about your experiences with job board scraping or any advice you might have.
