According to its Pokedex entry, its body is composed of solidified starlight and mountain mist, making it nearly transparent. I love how it’s described as having a serene yet watchful nature, often found grazing peacefully on mountaintops. But what I find really interesting is that it will fiercely defend its territory from any who dare to threaten the balance of nature.
Its gentle glow is said to guide lost travelers safely through the treacherous hills of Kerala. And did you know that its crystalline horns can channel the power of the wind? It’s no wonder the Nilgiri Tahr is known as the Mountain Spirit.
What I think is really cool is that it has two abilities: Mountain’s Grace, which grants it immunity to ground-type attacks and increases its speed in mountainous terrain, and Ethereal Horns, which allows it to fire a beam of concentrated light from its horns.
