As researchers, we’re no strangers to the review process. But with the NeurIPS 2025 review process introducing mandatory acknowledgments, things can get a bit tricky. I recently found myself wondering what to do when not all reviewers respond with the required acknowledgment after the author rebuttal.
In my case, three out of four reviewers engaged with our rebuttal, but only one of them posted the mandatory acknowledgment. It seems like an oversight, especially since the deadline is approaching. So, should I reach out to the AC about this, or just wait it out?
I’m also concerned about the one reviewer who hasn’t responded at all. Have you experienced something similar, or do you have any advice on how to handle this situation?
It’s essential to understand that missing acknowledgments might affect the decision process. If you’re going through a similar experience, let’s discuss how to navigate this situation and ensure a smooth review process.
