As a self-proclaimed TV enthusiast, I’ve recently taken on the task of organizing every TV show and cartoon I’ve ever watched into a meticulously ranked and color-coded spreadsheet using Libre Office. The result is a stunning visual representation of my TV viewing history.
The spreadsheet is divided into columns, with the top 45 shows in column A, followed by columns B, C, and so on. I’ve also separated cartoons into their own ranking system, as they’re a special category all their own.
Creating this spreadsheet was a therapeutic exercise in nostalgia, allowing me to reflect on the shows that have shaped my viewing habits over the years. From childhood favorites to recent binge-watches, every show has been carefully considered and ranked based on my personal preferences.
This project has also made me realize just how much time I’ve spent watching TV – but hey, at least I’ve got a beautiful spreadsheet to show for it!
## The Process
I started by making a list of every TV show and cartoon I could remember watching. Then, I categorized them into columns based on their ranking. The top 45 shows are the ones I’ve enjoyed the most, with subsequent columns featuring shows that are still worth watching but not quite as beloved.
## The Benefits
This spreadsheet has been a valuable exercise in data visualization, allowing me to see patterns and trends in my viewing habits that I might have otherwise overlooked. It’s also sparked some interesting conversations with friends and family about our shared love of TV.
## The Takeaway
If you’re a fellow TV enthusiast, I highly recommend taking on a similar project. Not only will you end up with a beautiful spreadsheet, but you’ll also gain a deeper understanding of your own viewing habits and preferences.
