Hey there, fellow machine learning enthusiasts! I’m sure many of you can relate to being stuck in a full-time job that’s not exactly aligned with your passion for ML. I’m in a similar boat, working full-time while trying to make time for online courses and small side projects in Python and PyTorch. It’s tough, but I’m determined to gradually transition into an ML-focused role, either internally or through a job change.
If you’re in a similar situation, I’d love to hear from you! How did you structure your learning time? What kind of projects or skills helped you stand out later? Did anything speed up your transition or make it more sustainable?
For those who have successfully made the shift, I’d love to hear your stories and gain some valuable insights. What worked for you, and what didn’t? What kind of support system did you have in place?
Let’s share our experiences and learn from each other. Who knows, maybe we can even form a study group or accountability partner system to help each other stay on track!
