I recently had to learn Exasol and was surprised to find out it’s a pretty niche database system. Now I’m wondering, is it worth investing time and energy into mastering Exasol, or would I be better off focusing on more popular tools like Snowflake or Databricks?

Exasol, on the one hand, offers some unique advantages, such as high performance and scalability. However, its limited adoption rate compared to other databases might make it less desirable in the job market.
On the other hand, Snowflake and Databricks are widely used and recognized in the industry, making them more attractive options for career advancement.
