I’ve been following the development of agentic AI and I have to wonder, is it overhyped? I mean, we’ve seen some impressive demos and breakthroughs, but are we really close to having AI agents that can truly think and act like humans? Or are we just seeing cleverly designed systems that can perform specific tasks?
I’m not trying to be negative, I’m genuinely curious about the potential of agentic AI. But I think it’s healthy to take a step back and assess what’s being promised versus what’s actually being delivered. Are we getting caught up in the excitement of it all and losing sight of the challenges that still need to be overcome?
