Hey there, fellow tech enthusiast! I’m about to dive into the world of computer science, but I’m having second thoughts. As a 19-year-old aiming for a CS bachelor’s degree, I’ve always been passionate about programming and thought it would be a great career path. But after hearing from experienced programmers online, I’m not so sure anymore.
Apparently, the job market is tough, and many programmers with 10+ years of experience are saying it’s not worth it. I understand that the job market has changed, and high-paying jobs with easy access are a thing of the past. But if it’s really that difficult to land a job, I’m left wondering if I should reconsider my career path.
The thing is, besides programming, I don’t know what else to study. I’ve invested so much time and effort into this field, but I don’t want to end up struggling to find a job. So, I’m turning to you for advice.
Should I stick with my CS degree, or is it time to explore other options? Share your thoughts and experiences in the comments below!
