I’ve been playing around with GPT-5, and I have to say, it’s not exactly impressive when it comes to information extraction tasks. I mean, I’ve seen it struggle to extract even the most basic information from text. It’s like it’s not designed for that kind of thing.
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I thought GPT-5 was supposed to be some kind of AI powerhouse. But when it comes to extracting information, it’s pretty bad. Has anyone else noticed this?
Maybe I’m just doing something wrong, or maybe it’s just not meant for this kind of task. Either way, I thought it was worth sharing my experience.
