AI Tools for Social Media: What Worked (and What Didn’t) for My Small Shop

As a small mobile phone shop owner, I struggle to keep up with social media. I don’t have the time or budget to create engaging content every day. That’s why I decided to try out some AI tools to see if they could help.

Here’s my honest take on the three AI tools I tested:

## Canva’s Magic Studio
I’ve used Canva for a while, and their new AI features are nice for quick design tweaks. It can generate text and suggest layouts. However, it still feels like I’m doing most of the heavy lifting myself – more of a design helper than a full solution.

## Predis.ai
This one was a game-changer for me. Unlike Canva, Predis.ai is built specifically for social media posts. I just type something like ‘iPhone 15 Pro new stock this week’ and it spits out captions, hashtags, images, carousels, and even short videos. Plus, it schedules my posts so I don’t forget.

What I liked: It keeps my posts consistent with my shop’s logo and colors, and it saves me a lot of time. What I didn’t like: Captions sometimes feel a bit generic, and videos don’t always match niche products like cases and accessories.

## Copy.ai
This one’s more about writing. It’s solid for generating ad copy or longer text, but for social media posts, I felt it was too text-heavy. I ended up copying the text into Canva anyway to make visuals, which kinda killed the time-saving part.

## My Verdict
For my small shop, Predis.ai has been the most useful, just because it handles both text and visuals in one go. Canva is still handy for custom designs, and Copy.ai works if you want polished writing.

I’m curious, has anyone here tried other AI tools for social media? Always looking for options before I settle on one.
